Pre-booked Entry is £6 per person with children 2 years and under being free of charge. Entry charges are more if you choose to pay at the Kiosk and they may vary during seasonal events such as the Summer Trail, Christmas and Holloween.
We recommend that you pre-book your tickets via our website, this guarantees you entry to the Farm Trail and the best admission price. Simply select your arrival time (30-minute slots throughout the day) and purchase your tickets online. Bring your tickets, either on your phone or printed if you prefer, to the Farm Trail Kiosk on the day of your booking. Please note, entry may not be granted outside of your specified ticket time.
The farm trail takes you through our livestock barns and fields where you can meet all our animals and find some great play activities to have fun on too.
No, once you have booked and arrived within your pre-booked slot, you have unlimited time to spend on the Farm Trail.
The trail itself is about a kilometre long but there’s lots to do and see as you go around so it’s anything from a couple of hours to a whole day! There is no time limit, you can stay until we close!
The Farm Trail is open from 10am - 5pm. Last entry is at 3pm (3pm on the door). The Farm Trail Kiosk including refreshments will close at 4pm. These are our Summer hours but is weather dependant.
Yes! Animal feed will be available from our Farm Trail Kiosk. Please use the feeding tubes provided and do not hand feed the animals. You must wash your hands after feeding the animals and touching their housing. Please do not feed the animals anything other than the animal feed purchased from the Kiosk.
There is something for all the family to do but the play activities are extra special fun for little ones of about seven years and under.
Yes, you can move your tickets, providing your entry time has not passed. If you make an account, you can log in and change dates yourself. If you do not make an accont, you will need to contact our office team to request a date change. Please note, there is an admin charge per ticket for moving tickets through our office.
If you are moving your online ticket to a different date via your account, please note that ticket value remains at the price initially paid. When transferring your tickets to a date with higher value ticket price, you will need to pay the difference in price per ticket. If you are transferring your tickets to a date lesser in ticket value, unfortunately, we are unable to refund the difference.
Yes, you can! We strongly advise you always wash your hands before you eat and use the picnic areas provided located in ‘non-animal contact’ areas.
The Farm Trail has lots of hard and grass paths that are suitable for wheelchairs to navigate. There are a few slopes that will need care on and if it’s wet, it can get muddy in some places. Please speak to a staff member if you need further assistance.
Sorry, we do not allow dogs on the Farm Trail. Whilst we all love our dogs, mixing them with the farm animals and lots of people does not work very well!
Our Farm Trail kiosk will be open for snacks, drinks and ice cream to takeaway. There is our Farm Cafe, which can get busy so we advise booking a table on our website if you are planning to dine in. We also offer Takeaway, this can be pre-ordered on our website or app (Hollow Trees Fram Takeaway), or you can order at the Farm Café. There is also a great range of ready to eat pies & pastries available in our Deli in the Farm Shop
We have one flat entry rate for everybody, except for those who are two years and under who are free of charge.

All entry tickets are non-refundable. If Hollow Trees Farm have closed the farm trail for any reason then we will contact you. If you make an account when you book your tickets then you are free to move them to another day or time. However if you have not made an account then changes to your booking are at the discretion of the management team and are subject to an administration fee.
You should still book a time slot to use your voucher. Please telephone 01449 741 247 for assistance in doing this.
Yes, there are toilets on the Farm Trail. There are also toilets in the Farm Shop, if you require disabled access.
Farm Trail visitors MUST park in the trail car park (on the right after entering the site from the road,) as the main gravel car park is reserved for our Farm Shop customers. Once parked, please follow the signed paths to the Farm Trail kiosk.
Yes of course! Please visit the Farm Shop to see our great selection of Fruit & Veg and wide range of locally produced Food and Drink. Visit our Farm Butcher where you can buy meat that has been raised on the Farm or our Farm Deli where you can pick up ready meals and desserts made in our Farm Cafe.
